One Solution or a blend of different services

Collaborative learning communitiesCollaborative learning communities: Learners working together to maximize and enrich learning with their own knowledge and skills – taking a significant shift away from traditional instructor led training. Collaborative learning communities work toward an agreed upon goal and realize the benefits of shared experience and the experience of the facilitator.
Informal team based learningInformal team based learning: Learners participating on the job – using the same content, learning objectives and materials in work related, informal learning environments. For example, a service team receives a set of job aids and assessment activities to learn a new process or service instead of traveling to a training center. These activities can be combined with a virtual lab or classroom experience.
Instructor led Classroom trainingInstructor led Classroom training: Traditional instructor-led classroom training – although at DeLuca design we work with our clients to minimize the time away from the field and often recommend a blended approach using resource materials, learning communities, self paced learning and virtual classrooms.
Interactive resources and reference materialsInteractive resources and reference materials: Just what it says – sometimes active learning means having access to resources and information that’ been validated for content and relevance. We offer this service to our customers especially when time and budget constraints don’t allow time for research or formal training programs.
Prescriptive/Adaptive learningPrescriptive/Adaptive learning: “Test Out”. In adaptive learning an assessment is used to identify what the student already know, skills they have and focus them only on what’s new or needs remediation. It’s a great way to speed up the pace of training and reward people for experience and skills they possess. These dynamic types of programs may rely on corporate LMS or CLMS system but can be used in any learning environment.
Self assessmentsSelf assessments: Self assessments allow learners to measure what they know against learning objectives for a specific skill. Assessments are generally used when learning focuses on specific and measureable skills. In most cases, areas that need improvement are supported by recommendations for future training.
Self paced e learningSelf paced e learning: Training that lets you work at your own pace. Oftentimes these types of programs are the types we once called Computer (CBT) or Web (WBT) based training but as Web and Learning 2.0 become more sophisticated these programs can be as elaborate as an on-line training program that teaches a service technician how to fix a new machine or a simple as a youtube.com video that demonstrates a cooking technique.
Virtual classroomsVirtual classrooms: Virtual classrooms allow companies of all sizes to provide training without the expense and inconvenience of travel. Although this learning environment isn’t right for all skills, it does provide a compelling and effective tactic for many of them. These learning events use a facilitator to work with the learner to understand content, provide practice exercises, “sand box” environments to practice in and an arena for discussion, discovery and sharing.
